Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
तूर्णमापुप्लुवुः सर्वे सदश्वा इव चोदिताः ।
कपिभ्यामुह्यमानौ तौ शुशुभाते नरर्षभौ ॥६-४-४२॥
tūrṇamāpupluvuḥ sarve sadaśvā iva coditāḥ । kapibhyāmuhyamānau tau śuśubhāte nararṣabhau ॥6-4-42॥
Translation
They all leapt quickly like excellent horses spurred on. Carried by the monkeys, those two bulls among men (Shri Rama and Lakshmana) shone resplendently.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे सभी (वानर) अच्छी तरह से प्रेरित (चलाए गए) उत्तम घोड़ों (सदश्वा) की भांति शीघ्रता से उछलते हुए चल रहे थे। वानरों (हनुमान और अंगद) द्वारा ले जाए जाते हुए वे दोनों नरश्रेष्ठ (श्री राम-लक्ष्मण) अत्यंत सुशोभित हो रहे थे।
English Commentary
The speed of the march is compared to thoroughbred horses ('sadashva'). Shri Rama and Lakshmana, elevated on the shoulders of their carriers, stand out visually ('shushubhate'), symbolizing their superior status and the reverence of their troops.

वानरों की गति की तुलना 'सदश्वा' (अच्छी नस्ल के घोड़ों) से की गई है। श्री राम और लक्ष्मण, जो क्रमशः हनुमान और अंगद के कंधों पर हैं, भीड़ से ऊपर उठकर सुशोभित हो रहे हैं। यह दृश्य राजसी सवारी का है।
