ज्योतिषीय उपमा। श्री राम को 'सूर्य' और लक्ष्मण को 'चन्द्रमा' कहा गया है। हनुमान और अंगद 'महान ग्रहों' (जैसे बृहस्पति या शुक्र) के समान हैं। जब सूर्य/चन्द्रमा किसी शुभ ग्रह के साथ होते हैं, तो वे अधिक प्रभावशाली दिखते हैं। यह गठबंधन की शक्ति का प्रतीक है।
