जगाम रामो धर्मात्मा ससैन्यो दक्षिणां दिशम् ।
तमङ्गदगतो रामं लक्ष्मणः शुभया गिरा ॥६-४-४४॥
jagāma rāmo dharmātmā sasainyo dakṣiṇāṃ diśam । tamaṅgadagato rāmaṃ lakṣmaṇaḥ śubhayā girā ॥6-4-44॥
Translation
...the righteous Shri Rama marched towards the southern direction with the army. Then, Lakshmana, seated on Angada, spoke to Shri Rama with auspicious words.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...धर्मात्मा श्री राम ने सेना सहित दक्षिण दिशा की ओर प्रस्थान किया। तब अंगद (के कंधे) पर बैठे हुए लक्ष्मण ने शुभ वाणी में श्री राम से कहा।
English Commentary
Mid-march dialogue. Lakshmana, riding alongside Shri Rama, initiates a conversation with 'shubhaya gira' (auspicious speech). This marks the beginning of the omen interpretation section, where Lakshmana acts as the optimistic counselor.

यात्रा के दौरान संवाद। लक्ष्मण, जो अंगद के कंधे पर हैं, श्री राम (जो हनुमान के कंधे पर हैं) से बात कर रहे हैं। लक्ष्मण की 'शुभ गिरा' (शुभ वाणी) का उद्देश्य श्री राम का मनोबल बढ़ाना और शकुनों की व्याख्या करना है।
