YUDDHA KANDA•SARGA: 4•SHLOKA: 46
समृद्धार्थः समृद्धार्थामयोध्यां प्रति यास्यसि ।
महान्ति च निमित्तानि दिवि भूमौ च राघव ॥६-४-४६॥
samṛddhārthaḥ samṛddhārthāmayodhyāṃ prati yāsyasi । mahānti ca nimittāni divi bhūmau ca rāghava ॥6-4-46॥
Translation
'...you shall return to the prosperous Ayodhya, having accomplished your purpose. O Raghava, great auspicious omens are appearing in the sky and on earth.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'...सफल मनोरथ होकर समृद्धशालिनी अयोध्या को लौटेंगे। हे राघव! आकाश और पृथ्वी पर महान (शुभ) शकुन (निमित्त) दिखाई दे रहे हैं।'
English Commentary
Lakshmana points to the 'Nimittani' (omens) in the sky ('divi') and earth ('bhumau'). He connects the immediate victory in Lanka to the ultimate goal: the return to a prosperous Ayodhya ('Samriddhartham Ayodhyam').

लक्ष्मण शकुनों ('निमित्तानि') की ओर श्री राम का ध्यान आकर्षित करते हैं। 'दिवि' (आकाश में) और 'भूमौ' (पृथ्वी पर) दोनों जगह संकेत शुभ हैं। यह श्री राम के वनवास के अंत और अयोध्या वापसी की भविष्यवाणी भी है।
