नक्षत्रवरमस्माकमिक्ष्वाकूणां महात्मनाम् ।
नैरृतं नैरृतानां च नक्षत्रमभिपीड्यते ॥६-४-५२॥
nakṣatravaramasmākamikṣvākūṇāṃ mahātmanām । nairṛtaṃ nairṛtānāṃ ca nakṣatramabhipīḍyate ॥6-4-52॥
Translation
'Whereas the Nairrita star (Mula), which belongs to the Nairritas (Rakshasas/Demons), is being afflicted.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'(जबकि) नैर्ऋत (राक्षसों) का नक्षत्र 'मूल' (जिसे नैरृत नक्षत्र भी कहते हैं) पीड़ित हो रहा है।'
English Commentary
Comparative astrology. Lakshmana contrasts the safety of their star (Vishakha) with the affliction of the enemy's star (Mula). Mula is ruled by Nirriti (Goddess of Calamity), hence associated with Rakshasas.

तुलनात्मक ज्योतिष। हमारा नक्षत्र (विशाखा) साफ है, लेकिन शत्रु का नक्षत्र (मूल) पीड़ित है। 'मूल' नक्षत्र का स्वामी 'निरृति' (राक्षस/विनाश का देवता) है, इसलिए यह राक्षसों का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है।
