काले कालगृहीतानां नक्षत्रं ग्रहपीडितम् ।
प्रसन्नाः सुरसाश्चापो वनानि फलवन्ति च ॥६-४-५४॥
kāle kālagṛhītānāṃ nakṣatraṃ grahapīḍitam । prasannāḥ surasāścāpo vanāni phalavanti ca ॥6-4-54॥
Translation
'At the time of death, the star of those seized by Doom is afflicted by planets. (For us,) the waters are clear and sweet, and the forests are fruitful.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'मृत्यु के समय (काले) काल के ग्रास बने हुए लोगों का नक्षत्र ग्रहों से पीड़ित होता है। (इसके विपरीत हमारे लिए) जल (आपः) स्वच्छ और स्वादिष्ट हैं, और वन फलों से लदे हैं।'
English Commentary
Doomsday signs. Lakshmana generalizes that afflicted stars signal the end times for the doomed ('kalagrihitanam'). Conversely, the abundance of resources (water, fruit) signals nature's support for Shri Rama's army.

विनाश काले विपरीत बुद्धि और विपरीत नक्षत्र। लक्ष्मण कहते हैं कि प्रकृति शत्रु के खिलाफ है और हमारे साथ है। जल और वन का अनुकूल होना सेना के रसद (Logistics) के लिए शुभ है।
