समावृत्य महीं कृत्स्नां जगाम महती चमूः ।
ते हृष्टमनसः सर्वे जग्मुर्मारुतरंहसः ॥६-४-६३॥
samāvṛtya mahīṃ kṛtsnāṃ jagāma mahatī camūḥ । te hṛṣṭamanasaḥ sarve jagmurmārutaraṃhasaḥ ॥6-4-63॥
Translation
Covering the entire earth, the great army marched. They all went with joyful minds and with the speed of the wind.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वह विशाल सेना सारी पृथ्वी को ढककर चली। वे सभी (वानर) प्रसन्न मन वाले थे और वायु के समान वेग (रंहस) से चल रहे थे।
English Commentary
Speed and morale. Despite the size, the army moves with 'marutarahasa' (speed of wind). The psychological state ('hrishtamanasah') fuels their physical stamina.
हिंदी टीका
वेग और उत्साह। इतनी बड़ी सेना अक्सर धीमी होती है, लेकिन ये वानर 'मारुतरंहसः' (वायु वेग वाले) हैं। उनका मन 'हृष्ट' (प्रसन्न) है, इसलिए थकान नहीं है।
