हरयो राघवस्यार्थे समारोपितविक्रमाः ।
हर्षवीर्यबलोद्रेकान् दर्शयन्तः परस्परम् ॥६-४-६४॥
harayo rāghavasyārthe samāropitavikramāḥ । harṣavīryabalodrekān darśayantaḥ parasparam ॥6-4-64॥
Translation
For the sake of Raghava, the monkeys had heightened their valor. They displayed their excess of joy, heroism, and strength to one another.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राघव के कार्य (अर्थ) के लिए उन वानरों ने अपना पराक्रम (विक्रम) बढ़ा लिया था। वे एक-दूसरे को अपना हर्ष, वीर्य (शौर्य) और बल का उद्रेक (आधिक्य) दिखा रहे थे।
English Commentary
Competitive valor. Motivated by devotion to Shri Rama, the troops engage in friendly posturing, showing off ('darshayantah') their strength. This internal competition serves to heighten the collective combat readiness.

प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक उत्साह। श्री राम के लिए ('राघवस्यार्थे') वे अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। सैनिक एक-दूसरे को चुनौती दे रहे हैं कि कौन ज्यादा ताकतवर है, जिससे समूह का कुल बल बढ़ता है।
