सह्यपर्वतमासेदुर् मलयं च महीधरम् ।
काननानि विचित्राणि नदीप्रस्रवणानि च ॥६-४-७३॥
sahyaparvatamāsedur malayaṃ ca mahīdharam । kānanāni vicitrāṇi nadīprasravaṇāni ca ॥6-4-73॥
Translation
...they reached the Sahya mountain and the Malaya mountain. (There were) wonderful forests and river cascades.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...सह्य पर्वत और मलय पर्वत तक आ पहुँचे। (वहाँ) विचित्र वन और नदियों के झरने थे।
English Commentary
Geographical milestone. They reach 'Malaya' (Southern Western Ghats). This region is lush and scenic, marking the final leg of the journey before the ocean.
