वायुवेगप्रचलिताः पुष्पैरावकिरन्ति तान् ।
मारुतः सुखसंस्पर्शो वाति चन्दनशीतलः ॥६-४-७७॥
vāyuvegapracalitāḥ puṣpairāvakiranti tān । mārutaḥ sukhasaṃsparśo vāti candanaśītalaḥ ॥6-4-77॥
Translation
Shaken by the force of the wind, those trees showered flowers upon them. A breeze, cool like sandalwood and pleasant to the touch, was blowing.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वायु के वेग से हिलते हुए वे वृक्ष उन (वानरों/श्री राम) पर फूलों की वर्षा कर रहे थे। चंदन (के स्पर्श) से शीतल और सुखद स्पर्श वाली हवा बह रही थी।
English Commentary
Nature's welcome. The trees shower flowers ('avakiranti') as if blessing the army. The wind is 'chandanashitala' (cool with sandalwood scent), referencing the famous sandalwood forests of the Malaya mountains.

प्रकृति का स्वागत। वृक्ष श्री राम और सेना पर पुष्प वर्षा कर रहे हैं। हवा 'चंदनशीतल' है (क्योंकि मलय पर्वत चंदन के लिए प्रसिद्ध है)। यह वातावरण को सुखद बनाता है।
