षट्पदैरनुकूजद्भिर्वनेषु मधुगन्धिषु ।
अधिकं शैलराजस्तु धातुभिः सुविभूषितः ॥६-४-७८॥
ṣaṭpadairanukūjadbhirvaneṣu madhugandhiṣu । adhikaṃ śailarājastu dhātubhiḥ suvibhūṣitaḥ ॥6-4-78॥
Translation
In the forests fragrant with honey, bees were buzzing. The king of mountains was greatly adorned with minerals (dhatus).
हिंदी अनुवाद
मधु की गंध वाले वनों में भ्रमर (षट्पद) गुंजार कर रहे थे। वह पर्वतराज (मलय) गेरू आदि धातुओं (Minerals) से विशेष रूप से सुशोभित था।
English Commentary
Visual splendor. The mountain is described as 'dhatubhih suvibhushitah' (adorned with minerals). Ancient Indian mountains were often described by their colorful mineral deposits (red, yellow ochre).

रंगीन पर्वत। मलय पर्वत न केवल सुगंधित है, बल्कि 'धातुओं' (रंगीन खनिजों जैसे गेरू, मैनसिल) से सजा हुआ है। यह दृश्य भव्यता पैदा करता है।
