इति स सवितृसूनुस्तत्र तत्कर्म कृत्वा पवनगतिरनीकं प्राविशत्संप्रहृष्टः ।
रघुवरनृपसूनोर्वर्धयन् युद्धहर्षं तरुमृगगणमुख्यैः पूज्यमानो हरीन्द्रः ॥६-४०-३०॥
iti sa savitṛsūnustatra tatkarma kṛtvā pavanagatiranīkaṃ prāviśatsaṃprahṛṣṭaḥ |
raghuvaranṛpasūnorvardhaya vāyuddhaaharṣaṃ tarumṛgagaṇamukhyaiḥ pūjyamāno harīndraḥ ॥6-40-30॥
Translation
Thus, having performed that feat there, the son of the Sun-god, possessing the speed of the wind, entered the army full of joy. Being honored by the monkey-chiefs, the King of Monkeys increased the martial enthusiasm of Shri Rama, the prince of the Raghu dynasty.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इस प्रकार वहाँ वह पराक्रम करके, पवन के समान वेग वाले सूर्यपुत्र सुग्रीव अत्यंत हर्षित होकर सेना में प्रविष्ट हुए। प्रमुख वानरों द्वारा पूजे जाते हुए उन वानरराज ने रघुकुल शिरोमणि श्री राम के युद्ध के उत्साह को और बढ़ा दिया।
English Commentary
Sugriva's daring feat acted as a powerful catalyst for 'Yuddhaharsa' (martial joy). Shri Rama felt proud of His friend's valor. The adoration of the monkey-chiefs ('Pujyamana') acknowledges Sugriva's standing as a warrior-king. This episode served as the definitive opening move of the war, proving that Ravana was no longer untouchable and that the final victory was inevitable.

सुग्रीव का यह कृत्य 'युद्धहर्ष' यानी युद्ध के उत्साह को बढ़ाने वाला था। श्री राम प्रसन्न हुए क्योंकि उनके मित्र का पराक्रम और साहस सिद्ध हो चुका था। वानर सेना ने अपने राजा का 'पूजन' किया, जो उनकी लोकप्रियता और वीरता का सम्मान है। इस घटना ने यह स्पष्ट कर दिया कि लंका का विनाश अब अत्यंत निकट है।
