सागरस्येव भिन्नस्य यथा स्यात्सलिलस्वनः ।
तेन शब्देन महता सप्राकारा सतोरणा ॥६-४१-५६॥
sāgarasyeva bhinnasya yathā syātsalilasvanaḥ |
tena śabdena mahatā saprākārā satoraṇā ॥6-41-56॥

English Commentary
The sound is likened to a breaching ocean ('sagarasya bhinnasya'). This metaphor suggests an unstoppable, chaotic force that drowns everything. The noise itself was a physical force, vibrating through the structures of Lanka.

(यह श्लोक अगले से जुड़ता है)। वानर सेना के शोर की उपमा 'भिन्न सागर' (टूटे हुए तट वाले समुद्र) से दी गई है। यह अनियंत्रित और विध्वंसक ध्वनि थी। इसने लंका के जड़ पदार्थों (दीवारों/तोरणों) को भी हिला दिया।
