English Commentary
Under Shri Rama's command, the army is invincible. The phrase 'rakshasam vadhe' (for the killing of demons) declares the clear objective. With the pieces on the board set, Shri Rama pauses before the checkmate to make one final diplomatic move, adhering to the Rajadharma that war is the last resort.

श्री राम के नेतृत्व ने उस वानर सेना को इतना शक्तिशाली बना दिया था कि देवता और असुर मिलकर भी उसे नहीं हरा सकते थे। सेना को 'सन्निवेश्य' (तैनात) करने के बाद श्री राम अब कूटनीति के अंतिम चरण की ओर बढ़ते हैं। युद्ध तय है, लेकिन श्री राम मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम हैं, वे अंतिम अवसर अवश्य देंगे।
