विभीषणस्यानुमते राजधर्ममनुस्मरन् ।
अङ्गदं वालितनयं समाहूयेदमब्रवीत् ॥६-४१-६०॥
vibhīṣaṇasyānumate rājadharmamanusmaran |
aṅgadaṃ vālitanayaṃ samāhūyedamabravīt ॥6-41-60॥
Translation
...with the consent of Vibhishana and remembering the duty of a king (Rajadharma), called Angada, the son of Vali, and spoke these words.

...विभीषण की अनुमति लेकर और राजधर्म का स्मरण करते हुए, बालिपुत्र अंगद को बुलाकर यह वचन कहा।
English Commentary
Shri Rama seeks Vibhishana's consent, acknowledging his local authority. Driven by 'Rajadharma', he summons Angada. Choosing Angada is strategic: he is royalty (Yuvaraja), articulate, and the son of Vali—the only person Ravana feared. Sending Vali's son carries a subtle threat reminding Ravana of his past humiliation.

श्री राम ने विभीषण की सहमति ली, जो लंका के भावी राजा और इनसाइडर थे। 'राजधर्म' का स्मरण ही उन्हें दूत भेजने को प्रेरित करता है। उन्होंने अंगद को चुना। अंगद युवराज हैं, निडर हैं और बालि के पुत्र हैं (जिन्होंने रावण को हराया था)। अंगद का चयन मनोवैज्ञानिक दबाव बनाने के लिए था।
