नागानामथ यक्षाणां राज्ञां च रजनीचर ।
यच्च पापं कृतं मोहादवलिप्तेन रक्षसा ॥६-४१-६३॥
nāgānāmatha yakṣāṇāṃ rājñāṃ ca rajanīcara |
yacca pāpaṃ kṛtaṃ mohādavaliptena rakṣasā ॥6-41-63॥
Translation
...and of Nagas, Yakshas, and kings, O night-roamer! The sin that you have committed out of delusion and arrogance...

...नागों, यक्षों और राजाओं के प्रति भी, हे निशाचर! जो पाप तुमने मोह और अहंकार (गर्व) से युक्त होकर किया है...
English Commentary
Shri Rama lists Ravana's victims—sages, gods, kings—reminding him that his current predicament is the cumulative result of a lifetime of tyranny. The motive for these sins is identified as 'moha' (delusion) and arrogance. Shri Rama positions himself as the avenger of all these wronged beings, not just as Sita's husband.

श्री राम रावण को उसके पुराने पाप याद दिला रहे हैं। उसने केवल सीता का हरण नहीं किया, बल्कि ऋषियों, यक्षों और अन्य राजाओं को भी सताया है। 'अवलिप्तेन' (गर्व में चूर) शब्द बताता है कि शक्ति ने उसे अंधा कर दिया था। अब हिसाब चुकाने का समय आ गया है।
