अराक्षसमिमं लोकं कर्तास्मि निशितैः शरैः ।
न चेच्छरणमभ्येषि मामुपादाय मैथिलीम् ॥६-४१-६८॥
arākṣasamimaṃ lokaṃ kartāsmi niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ |
na ceccharaṇamabhyeṣi māmupādāya maithilīm ॥6-41-68॥
Translation
If you do not seek my refuge taking Maithili (Sita) with you, I shall make this world devoid of demons with my sharp arrows.
हिंदी अनुवाद
यदि तुम मैथिली (सीता) को लेकर मेरी शरण में नहीं आते हो, तो मैं अपने तीखे बाणों से इस संसार को राक्षस-विहीन कर दूँगा।
English Commentary
The Condition. Shri Rama offers a final off-ramp: Surrender with Sita ('sharanam abhyeshi') or face total annihilation. The threat is global—'arakshasam imam lokam' (this world devoid of demons). It clarifies that the war is conditional on Ravana's refusal to correct his adharma. The window for mercy is still slightly ajar.
हिंदी टीका
यह है अंतिम अल्टीमेटम (Ultimatum)। शर्त स्पष्ट है: सीता को लौटाओ और शरण में आओ। अन्यथा परिणाम होगा—जातिसंहार (Genocide of Rakshasas)। श्री राम की प्रतिज्ञा 'अराक्षसम् इमं लोकं' (राक्षसहीन संसार) अत्यंत भयानक है। यह शांति का आखिरी प्रस्ताव है।
