रावणस्य वचः श्रुत्वा दीप्ताग्निसमतेजसः ।
जगृहुस्तं ततो घोराश्चत्वारो रजनीचराः ॥६-४१-८७॥
rāvaṇasya vacaḥ śrutvā dīptāgnisamatejasaḥ |
jagṛhustaṃ tato ghorāścatvāro rajanīcarāḥ ॥6-41-87॥
Translation
Hearing the words of Ravana, who was glowing like blazing fire, four terrible demons seized him (Angada).
हिंदी अनुवाद
प्रज्वलित अग्नि के समान तेजस्वी रावण के वचन सुनकर, चार भयानक राक्षसों ने उस (अंगद) को पकड़ लिया।
English Commentary
Obeying the fiery tyrant, four guards pounce on Angada. The tension peaks. It is four against one solitary envoy. The description of Ravana's 'tejas' (energy/fire) matches the intensity of the situation.

रावण के आदेश पर चार भयानक राक्षस अंगद पर झपटे। रावण का तेज भी अग्नि जैसा है (क्रोध के कारण)। अंगद ने उन्हें पकड़ने दिया (जैसा कि अगले श्लोक में स्पष्ट होगा), यह उनकी रणनीति थी।
