स तान् बाहुद्वये सक्तानादाय पन्नगानिव ।
प्रासादं शैलसंकाशमुत्पपाताङ्गदस्तदा ॥६-४१-८९॥
sa tān bāhudvaye saktānādāya pannagāniva |
prāsādaṃ śailasaṃkāśamutpapātāṅgadastadā ॥6-41-89॥
Translation
Holding those (demons) clinging to his two arms like snakes, Angada then leaped up onto the palace which was like a mountain.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वह अंगद अपनी दोनों भुजाओं में लिपटे हुए उन (राक्षसों) को, जैसे (गरुड़) साँपों को ले जाता है, लेकर पर्वत के समान ऊँचे प्रासाद (महल की छत) पर कूद गया।
English Commentary
A stunning feat of strength. Angada jumps onto the roof ('prasadam') carrying his captors with him! The simile of Garuda carrying snakes ('pannaganiva') implies that Angada is the predator and the demons are mere prey. He turns their attempt to restrain him into a demonstration of his burden-carrying capacity.

अद्भुत पराक्रम! अंगद ने उन चार राक्षसों को, जो उसे पकड़े हुए थे, अपने साथ ही उड़ा लिया। जैसे गरुड़ साँपों को ले उड़ता है। वह महल की छत पर जा पहुँचा। राक्षसों को लगा था उन्होंने अंगद को पकड़ा है, पर अंगद ने उन्हें खिलौना बना दिया।
