प्रेक्षतो राक्षसेन्द्रस्य तान्यनीकानि भागशः ।
राघवप्रियकामार्थं लङ्कामारुरुहुस्तदा ॥६-४२-१३॥
prekṣato rākṣasendrasya tānyanīkāni bhāgaśaḥ |
rāghavapriyakāmārthaṃ laṅkāmaruruhustadā ॥6-42-13॥
Translation
While the Lord of Rakshasas looked on, those armies, divided into divisions, ascended Lanka then, wishing to do what is dear to Raghava.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राक्षसराज (रावण) के देखते-देखते ही वे सेनाएं, राघव का प्रिय करने की इच्छा से, अलग-अलग भागों में बंटकर तब लंका पर चढ़ने लगीं।
English Commentary
In a brazen act of defiance, the Vanaras assault the city while Ravana watches ('prekshato'). They split into formations ('bhagashah') to attack multiple points. Their motivation is explicitly stated as 'raghavapriyakamartham' (for the sake of pleasing Shri Rama/doing Shri Rama's desire). This underscores that their violence is an act of devotion to their Lord.

रावण महल से देख रहा था, और उसके सामने ही वानर सेना ने आक्रमण शुरू कर दिया। यह रावण के अहंकार पर सीधा प्रहार था। वानर 'भागशः' (टुकड़ियों में) बंटकर दीवारों पर चढ़ने लगे। उनका एकमात्र उद्देश्य 'राघवप्रियकामार्थम्' (श्री राम का प्रिय करना) था, जो भक्ति और सेवा भाव का चरम उदाहरण है।
