ते द्रुमैः पर्वताग्रैश्च मुष्टिभिश्च प्लवङ्गमाः ।
प्राकाराग्रराण्यरण्यानि ममन्थुस्तोरणानि च ॥६-४२-१५॥
te drumaiḥ parvatāgraiśca muṣṭibhiśca plavaṅgamāḥ |
prākārāgrarāṇyaraṇyāni mamanthustoraṇāni ca ॥6-42-15॥
Translation
Those monkeys crushed the tops of the ramparts, the forests, and the archways using trees, mountain peaks, and their fists.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन वानरों ने वृक्षों, पर्वत-शिखरों और मुक्कों से परकोटे (दीवार) के ऊपरी भागों को, (वहां के) वनों को और तोरणों (द्वारों) को मथ डाला (तोड़-फोड़ दिया)।
English Commentary
The destruction is visceral. The Vanaras use blunt force to demolish the infrastructure of Lanka. They target the 'prakara' (defensive walls) and 'torana' (archways), symbolizing the dismantling of Ravana's pride and defense. The verb 'mamanthuh' (churned/crushed) suggests a chaotic and thorough destruction, turning the beautiful city into rubble.

आक्रमण का वेग प्रचंड था। वानरों ने लंका के 'प्राकार' (परकोटे) और 'तोरण' (सजावटी द्वार) नष्ट कर दिए। 'ममनथुः' (मथ डाला/कुचल दिया) क्रिया उनके विनाशकारी बल को दर्शाती है। उन्होंने मुक्कों तक का प्रयोग करके पत्थर की संरचनाओं को ध्वस्त कर दिया, जो उनकी अलौकिक शक्ति का प्रमाण है।
