इत्येवं घोषयन्तश्च गर्जन्तश्च प्लवङ्गमाः ।
अभ्यधावन्त लङ्कायाः प्राकारं कामरूपिणः ॥६-४२-२१॥
ityevaṃ ghoṣayantaśca garjantaśca plavaṅgamāḥ |
abhyadhāvanta laṅkāyāḥ prākāraṃ kāmarūpiṇaḥ ॥6-42-21॥
Translation
Proclaiming thus and roaring, the shape-shifting monkeys rushed towards the defensive wall of Lanka.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इस प्रकार घोषणा (जयकार) करते हुए और गर्जना करते हुए, वे कामरूपी (इच्छानुसार रूप बदलने वाले) वानर लंका की दीवार (प्राकार) की ओर दौड़े।
English Commentary
Empowered by their war cry, the monkeys launch their assault on the ramparts. The term 'kamarupinah' (able to change form at will) suggests they could assume terrifying forms or adapt their size to breach defenses. This supernatural ability adds another layer of threat to their physical assault.

जयघोष के साथ आक्रमण और तीव्र हो गया। 'कामरूपिणः' विशेषण बताता है कि वे वानर आवश्यकतानुसार अपना आकार छोटा या विशाल कर सकते थे, जो किले की दीवारों पर चढ़ने में सहायक था। वे निडर होकर दीवार ('प्राकार') पर टूट पड़े।
