वीरबाहुः सुबाहुश्च नलश्च वनगोचरः ।
निपीड्योपनिविष्टास्ते प्राकारं हरियूथपाः ॥६-४२-२२॥
vīrabāhuḥ subāhuśca nalaśca vanagocaraḥ |
nipīḍyopaniviṣṭāste prākāraṃ hariyūthapāḥ ॥6-42-22॥
Translation
Virabahu, Subahu, and Nala the forest-dweller—these monkey commanders, having battered/pressed the wall, took up positions there.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वीरबाहु, सुबाहु और वनवासी नल—इन वानर यूथपतियों ने दीवार (प्राकार) को दबाकर (तोड़कर/मार्ग बनाकर) वहां प्रवेश किया (या पड़ाव डाला)।
English Commentary
The narrative focuses on individual commanders breaching the perimeter. Nala, the engineer, along with Virabahu and Subahu, lead the charge. They physically compromise the wall ('nipidya') and establish a foothold ('upanivishtah'). This tactical success allows the rest of the army to pour in.

विशिष्ट सेनापतियों के कारनामों का वर्णन। नल (सेतु निर्माता) और अन्य वीरों ने दीवार में सेंध लगाई ('निपीड्य') और वहां अपनी स्थिति मजबूत कर ली ('उपनिविष्टाः')। यह शत्रु की रक्षा पंक्ति को तोड़कर अंदर पैर जमाना जैसा है।
