रथानां नेमिघोषैश्च राक्षसां पादनिस्वनैः ।
एतस्मिन्नन्तरे घोरः संग्रामः समवर्तत ॥६-४२-४१॥
rathānāṃ nemighoṣaiśca rākṣasāṃ pādanisvanaiḥ |
etasminnantare ghoraḥ saṃgrāmaḥ samavartata ॥6-42-41॥
Translation
...and with the sound of chariot wheels and the footsteps of Rakshasas. In that interval, a terrible battle commenced.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...तथा रथों के पहियों की आवाज (नेमिघोष) और राक्षसों के पैरों की आवाज से (वातावरण गूंज उठा)। इसी बीच (दोनों सेनाओं में) घोर संग्श्री राम छिड़ गया।
English Commentary
The mechanical sound of chariot wheels ('nemighosha') and the rhythmic marching of infantry complete the auditory landscape. Then, the tension snaps—the armies collide. The phrase 'samgramah samavartata' marks the transition from posturing to actual fighting.

रथों की गड़गड़ाहट ('नेमिघोष') और पैदल सैनिकों की पदचाप ने वातावरण को तनावपूर्ण बना दिया। और फिर वह क्षण आ गया—'संग्श्री रामः समवर्तत' (युद्ध शुरू हो गया)। अब तक जो तैयारियां और शोर था, वह अब रक्तपात में बदल गया।
