वानराश्चापि संक्रुद्धाः प्राकारस्थान् महीगताः ।
राक्षसान् पातयामासुः समाप्लुत्य प्लवङ्गमाः ॥६-४२-४७॥
vānarāścāpi saṃkruddhāḥ prākārasthān mahīgatāḥ |
rākṣasān pātayāmāsuḥ samāplutya plavaṅgamāḥ ॥6-42-47॥
Translation
And the monkeys too, standing on the ground and enraged, leaped up and threw down the Rakshasas stationed on the ramparts.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तभी, जमीन पर खड़े क्रोधित वानर उछलकर (ऊपर गए) और दीवार पर स्थित राक्षसों को नीचे गिराने लगे।
English Commentary
Refusing to be sitting ducks, the Vanaras use their unique ability—leaping ('samaplutya'). They bridge the vertical gap instantly, turning the Rakshasas' high-ground advantage into a close-combat brawl. Throwing the defenders off the walls signifies the breach of Lanka's perimeter. The sarga ends with the battle fully joined, balancing the scales of war.

वानरों ने गुरुत्वाकर्षण और ऊंचाई की बाधा को अपनी उछाल शक्ति से पार किया। वे 'समाप्लुत्य' (उछलकर) दीवारों पर पहुंचे और राक्षसों को नीचे फेंक दिया। सर्ग का समापन वानरों के पलटवार से होता है, जो सिद्ध करता है कि कोई भी दीवार उनके साहस को नहीं रोक सकती।
