तस्य तं रथमास्थाय हनुमान् मारुतात्मजः ।
प्रममाथ तलेनाशु सह तेनैव रक्षसा ॥६-४३-२२॥
tasya taṃ rathamāsthāya hanumān mārutātmajaḥ |
pramamātha talenāśu saha tenaiva rakṣasā ॥6-43-22॥
Translation
Then, the son of the Wind, Hanuman, having climbed onto his chariot, quickly crushed that chariot along with the Rakshasa with a blow of his palm.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब पवनपुत्र हनुमान जी ने उसके रथ पर चढ़कर अपने हथेली के प्रहार से उस राक्षस सहित रथ को तुरंत चूर-चूर कर दिया।
English Commentary
Shri Hanuman’s response was devastating and swift. He did not counter the missile with another weapon but used the sheer power of His palm to crush both the chariot and the demon. This shows that before Shri Hanuman, even massive chariots and divine weapons are as insignificant as straw. Jambumali's end symbolizes the destruction of his hubris and demonic power.
हिंदी टीका
हनुमान जी का उत्तर अत्यंत भीषण और त्वरित था। उन्होंने शस्त्र का उत्तर शस्त्र से नहीं, बल्कि अपनी हथेली (तल) की प्रचंड शक्ति से दिया। यह दर्शाता है कि हनुमान जी के सामने बड़े-बड़े रथ और अस्त्र तिनके के समान हैं। जम्बुमाली का अंत उनके अहंकार और उसकी आसुरी शक्ति के विनाश का प्रतीक है।
