Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
अग्निकेतुश्च दुर्धर्षो रश्मिकेतुश्च राक्षसः ।
सुप्तघ्नो यज्ञकोपश्च रामं निर्बिभिदुः शरैः ॥६-४३-२८॥
agniketuśca durdharṣo raśmiketuśca rākṣasaḥ |
suptaghno yajñakopaśca rāmaṃ nirbibhiduḥ śaraiḥ ॥6-43-28॥
Translation
The invincible Agniketu, Rashmiketu, Suptaghna, and Yajnakopa—these Rakshasas pierced Shri Rama with their arrows.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अजेय अग्निकेतु, रश्मिकेत, सुप्तघ्न और यज्ञकोप—इन राक्षसों ने श्री राम को अपने बाणों से बेध दिया।
English Commentary
These four Rakshasas launched a collective assault on Shri Rama. Attacking a single warrior as a group, contrary to traditional codes of conduct, reflects their demonic nature. Shri Rama withstands these strikes as part of His divine play in battle, allowing the enemies to exhibit their full strength before their inevitable and just destruction.

ये चार राक्षस एक साथ श्री राम पर टूट पड़े हैं। युद्ध के नियमों के विरुद्ध जाकर सामूहिक रूप से एक ही योद्धा पर प्रहार करना राक्षसी स्वभाव को दर्शाता है। श्री राम इन प्रहारों को स्वीकार करते हैं, जो उनके युद्ध-क्रीड़ा का हिस्सा है। वे शत्रुओं को अपनी पूरी शक्ति दिखाने का अवसर देते हैं ताकि उनका विनाश पूर्णतः न्यायसंगत हो।
