Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
तेषां चतुर्णां रामस्तु शिरांसि निशितैः शरैः ।
क्रुद्धश्चतुर्भिश्चिच्छेद घोरैरग्निशिखोपमैः ॥६-४३-२९॥
teṣāṃ caturṇāṃ rāmastu śirāṃsi niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ |
kruddhaścatur bhibhiściccheda ghorairagniśikhopamaiḥ ॥6-43-29॥
Translation
Then Shri Rama, becoming enraged, cut off the heads of those four with four sharp and terrible arrows which were like flames of fire.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब श्री राम ने कुपित होकर अग्नि की ज्वाला के समान चार भयंकर और पैने बाणों से उन चारों के सिर काट दिए।
English Commentary
Shri Rama's response was extremely efficient and concise. Four enemies and exactly four arrows—this demonstrates His infallible destructive power. His arrows are compared to flames of fire, meant to incinerate unrighteousness. Shri Rama's anger here serves the greater good as He eliminates these persistent tormentors of the worlds.

श्री राम का उत्तर अत्यंत प्रभावी और संक्षिप्त था। चार शत्रु और चार ही बाण—यह उनकी अचूक संहारक शक्ति का परिचायक है। उनके बाणों की तुलना अग्नि की ज्वाला से की गई है, जो अधर्म को भस्म करने वाली है। श्री राम का क्रोध यहाँ लोक-कल्याणकारी है, क्योंकि वे इन आततायियों का अंत कर रहे हैं।
