स शरैरातिविद्धाङ्गो द्विविदः क्रोधमूर्च्छितः ।
सालेन सरथं साश्वं निजघानाशनिप्रभम् ॥६-४३-३६॥
sa śarairātividdhāṅgo dvividaḥ krodhamūrcchitaḥ |
sālena sarathaṃ sāśvaṃ nijaghānāśaniprabham ॥6-43-36॥
Translation
With his limbs severely pierced by arrows, the enraged Dvivida killed Ashaniprabha along with his chariot and horses using a Sala tree.
हिंदी अनुवाद
बाणों से अत्यंत घायल अंगों वाले द्विविद ने क्रोध में भरकर साल के वृक्ष से घोड़ों और रथ सहित अशनिप्रभ का वध कर दिया।
English Commentary
When anger is aligned with Dharma, it amplifies one's strength. Disregarding his wounds, Dvivida uprooted a Sala tree and completely annihilated the enemy. The simultaneous destruction of the chariot and horses ensures that no escape or recovery was possible for the Rakshasa.
हिंदी टीका
क्रोध जब धर्म के पक्ष में हो, तो वह बल को बढ़ा देता है। द्विविद ने अपने घावों की चिंता न करते हुए साल वृक्ष को उखाड़ा और शत्रु का समूल नाश कर दिया। रथ और घोड़ों का साथ नष्ट होना यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि शत्रु का पलायन असंभव हो।
