तमापतन्तं गदया विद्युन्माली निशाचरः ।
वक्षस्यभि जघानाशु सुषेणं हरिसत्तमम् ॥६-४३-४१॥
tamāpatantaṃ gadayā vidyunmālī niśācaraḥ |
vakṣasyabhi jaghānāśu suṣeṇaṃ harisattamam ॥6-43-41॥
Translation
Vidyunmali quickly struck the best of monkeys, Sushena, on his chest with a mace as he was rushing towards him.

अपनी ओर आते हुए वानर श्रेष्ठ सुषेण की छाती पर विद्युन्माली ने तुरंत गदा से प्रहार किया।
English Commentary
Vidyunmali skillfully employed his mace, delivering a strike to the chest that could be both excruciating and fatal. This moment tests Sushena's physical endurance and resilience. The duel has reached its most critical and decisive juncture.

विद्युन्माली ने अपनी गदा का कुशलतापूर्वक प्रयोग किया। छाती पर प्रहार करना अत्यंत पीड़ादायक और घातक हो सकता है। यहाँ सुषेण की शारीरिक दृढ़ता की परीक्षा हो रही है। यह द्वन्द्व अपने निर्णायक मोड़ पर पहुँच चुका है।
