गदाप्रहारं तं घोरमचिन्त्य प्लवगोत्तमः ।
तां शिलां पातयामास तस्योरसि महामृधे ॥६-४३-४२॥
gadāprahāraṃ taṃ ghoramacintya plavagottamaḥ |
tāṃ śilāṃ pātayāmāsa tasyorasi mahāmṛdhe ॥6-43-42॥
Translation
Ignoring that terrible blow of the mace, the best of monkeys, Sushena, cast that rock onto the chest of the Rakshasa in that great battle.

उस भयंकर गदा प्रहार की चिंता न करते हुए, वानरों में श्रेष्ठ सुषेण ने उस महान युद्ध में वह शिला राक्षस की छाती पर पटक दी।
English Commentary
Sushena's fortitude and bravery are unparalleled here. Even after sustaining a heavy blow from the mace, he remained unfazed ('Achintya'). He channeled all his remaining strength into casting the rock. This 'Titiksha' (power of endurance) is what defines him as a supreme warrior in Shri Rama's army.

सुषेण का धैर्य और साहस यहाँ अद्वितीय है। गदा की चोट खाने के बाद भी वे विचलित नहीं हुए ('अचिन्त्य')। उन्होंने अपनी पूरी शक्ति शिला के प्रहार में झोंक दी। यह 'तितिक्षा' (कष्ट सहने की शक्ति) ही उन्हें एक महान योद्धा बनाती है।
