शिलाप्रहाराभिहतो विद्युन्माली निशाचरः ।
निष्पिष्टहृदयो भूमौ गतासुर्निपपात ह ॥६-४३-४३॥
śilāprahārābhihato vidyunmālī niśācaraḥ |
niṣpiṣṭahṛdayo bhūmau gatāsurnipapāta ha ॥6-43-43॥
Translation
Struck by the impact of the rock, with his heart crushed, the night-stalker Vidyunmali fell to the ground, breathless and dead.
हिंदी अनुवाद
शिला के प्रहार से घायल होकर, पिसे हुए हृदय वाला वह निशाचर विद्युन्माली प्राणहीन होकर भूमि पर गिर पड़ा।
English Commentary
The impact of the rock resulted in Vidyunmali's demise. The term 'Nishpishtahridayah' (crushed heart) clearly conveys the absolute severity of the blow. The fall of a powerful warrior like Vidyunmali proves that no matter how brilliant the weapons of Adharma appear, they cannot withstand the weight of truth.

शिला का प्रहार विद्युन्माली के लिए अंत का कारण बना। 'निष्पिष्टहृदयः' शब्द प्रहार की भीषणता को स्पष्ट करता है। विद्युन्माली जैसे पराक्रमी का अंत यह सिद्ध करता है कि अधर्म के शस्त्र कितने भी चमकीले हों, सत्य के प्रहार के सामने वे नहीं टिक सकते।
