Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
एवं तैर्वानरैः शूरैः शूरास्ते रजनीचराः ।
द्वन्द्वे विमृदितास्तत्र दैत्या इव दिवौकसैः ॥६-४३-४४॥
evaṃ tairvānaraiḥ śūraiḥ śūrāste rajanīcarāḥ |
dvandve vimṛditāstatra daityā iva divaukasaiḥ ॥6-43-44॥
Translation
In this way, those heroic Rakshasas were crushed in the duels by those heroic Vanaras, just as the Daityas are crushed by the Devas.

इस प्रकार उन वीर वानरों द्वारा वे वीर राक्षस युद्ध में वैसे ही कुचल दिए गए, जैसे देवताओं द्वारा दैत्य कुचले जाते हैं।
English Commentary
This verse summarizes this phase of the battle. By using the analogy of Devas and Daityas, Sage Valmiki presents this conflict as the eternal war between divine and demonic forces. This is not just a victory for the Vanaras, but a triumph of the sattvic forces of existence.

इस श्लोक में युद्ध के इस चरण का उपसंहार है। देवताओं और दैत्यों की उपमा देकर वाल्मीकि जी इस संघर्ष को दैवीय और आसुरी शक्तियों के सनातन युद्ध के रूप में प्रस्तुत करते हैं। यह केवल वानरों की जीत नहीं, बल्कि सात्विक शक्तियों की विजय है।
