भग्नैः खड्गैर्गदाभिश्च शक्ति तोमरपट्टसैः ।
अपविद्धैश्च भिन्नैश्च रथैः सांग्रामिकैर्हयैः ॥६-४३-४५॥
bhagnaiḥ khaḍgairgadābhiśca śakti tomarapaṭṭasaiḥ |
apaviddhaiśca bhinnaiśca rathaiḥ sāṃgrāmikairhayaiḥ ॥6-43-45॥
Translation
With broken swords, maces, missiles, javelins, and axes, as well as with discarded and broken battle-chariots and horses—

टूटी हुई तलवारों, गदाओं, शक्तियों, तोमरों और पट्टसों से तथा गिरे हुए और टूटे हुए युद्ध के रथों और घोड़ों से—
English Commentary
The visual description of the battlefield begins here. Broken weapons and dead steeds scattered everywhere bear witness to the intensity of the struggle. This verse illustrates the vast scale of destruction resulting from the massive collision between the two armies.

युद्ध के मैदान का दृश्य यहाँ से चित्रित होना आरम्भ होता है। चारों ओर बिखरे हुए टूटे शस्त्र और मृत वाहन युद्ध की प्रचंडता की गवाही दे रहे हैं। यह श्लोक विनाश के उस विस्तार को दर्शाता है जो दोनों सेनाओं के टकराने से उत्पन्न हुआ था।
