प्रजङ्घेन च सपानिर्नित्यं दुर्मर्षणो रणे ।
जम्बुमालिनमारब्धो हनुमानपि वानरः ॥६-४३-७॥
prajaṅghena ca sapānirnityaṃ durmarṣaṇo raṇe |
jambumālinamārabdho hanumānapi vānarah ॥6-43-7॥
Translation
Sampati fought with Prajangha, who held a sword in hand, and the monkey Hanuman began a duel with the Rakshasa Jambumali, who was ever-invincible in battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हाथ में खड्ग लिए प्रजंघ के साथ सम्पाती और युद्ध में सदा अजेय रहने वाले हनुमान जी ने जम्बुमाली राक्षस के साथ युद्ध प्रारम्भ किया।
English Commentary
This verse mentions the combat between Shri Hanuman and Jambumali. Jambumali is described as 'Durmarshana', meaning one who is difficult to subdue. Shri Hanuman's valor is well-known, having already demonstrated His might during the burning of Lanka. This encounter highlights Shri Hanuman’s readiness to systematically eliminate the elite warriors of the Rakshasa army.

यहाँ श्री हनुमान जी और जम्बुमाली के युद्ध का उल्लेख है। जम्बुमाली को 'दुर्मर्षण' कहा गया है, जिसका अर्थ है जिसे दबाना कठिन हो। हनुमान जी की वीरता सर्वविदित है और वे पहले ही लंका दहन के समय अपनी शक्ति का परिचय दे चुके थे। यह भिड़ंत दिखाती है कि हनुमान जी लंका के चुन-चुन कर योद्धाओं का संहार करने के लिए तत्पर हैं।
