कालाः काञ्चनसन्नाहास्तस्मिंस्तमसि राक्षसाः ।
संप्रादृश्यन्त शैलेन्द्रा दीप्तौषधिवना इव ॥६-४४-५॥
kālāḥ kāñcanasannāhāstasmiṃstamasi rākṣasāḥ |
saṃprādṛśyanta śailendrā dīptauṣadhivanā iva ॥6-44-5॥
Translation
In that darkness, the black-complexioned demons clad in golden armor appeared like mighty mountains covered with forests of glowing medicinal herbs.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस अन्धकार में काले रंग वाले और सोने के कवच पहने हुए राक्षस, चमचमाती हुई औषधियों के वनों से युक्त पर्वतों के समान दिखाई दे रहे थे।
English Commentary
A beautiful use of simile. The demons' bodies are black (like mountains), and their golden armor shines in the dark (like glowing herbs). This comparison not only clarifies the visual scene but also presents the magnitude and terrifying beauty of the Rakshasa warriors.

उपमा अलंकार का सुंदर प्रयोग। राक्षसों का शरीर काला (पर्वत समान) है और उनका स्वर्ण कवच अन्धकार में चमक रहा है (दीप्त औषधियों समान)। यह तुलना न केवल दृश्य को स्पष्ट करती है बल्कि राक्षसों की विशालता और उनकी भयावह सुंदरता को भी प्रस्तुत करती है।
