द्वौ सुषेणस्य दायादौ नीलं च प्लवगर्षभम् ।
अङ्गदं वालिपुत्रं च शरभं च तरस्विनम् ॥६-४५-२॥
dvau suṣeṇasya dāyādau nīlaṃ ca plavagarṣabham |
aṅgadaṃ vāliputraṃ ca śarabhaṃ ca tarasvinam ॥6-45-2॥
Translation
(Those whom Shri Rama ordered were)—the two sons of Sushena, Nila the bull among monkeys, Angada the son of Vali, and the swift Sharabha.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(श्री राम ने जिन्हें आदेश दिया, वे थे)—सुषेण के दो पुत्र, वानरश्रेष्ठ नील, बालिपुत्र अंगद और वेगवान शरभ।
English Commentary
Shri Rama selected the cream of the crop for this reconnaissance mission. Nila (the Commander-in-Chief), Angada (the Crown Prince and son of Vali), and others were chosen for their prowess. This selection proves that Shri Rama understood the gravity of Indrajit's threat. Sending the most capable warriors was the only way to counter an invisible adversary.

श्री राम ने जिन योद्धाओं को चुना, वे वानर सेना के शीर्षस्थ वीर थे। सुषेण के पुत्र, नील (सेनापति), और अंगद (युवराज)—ये सभी अपनी शक्ति और दृष्टि के लिए प्रसिद्ध थे। अंगद का नाम विशेष है क्योंकि वे बालि के पुत्र थे और रावण के समान ही बलशाली माने जाते थे। श्री राम ने शत्रु की माया को भेदने के लिए अपनी सर्वश्रेष्ठ टीम का चयन किया।
