न ह्यविद्धं तयोगात्रे बभूवाङ्गुलमन्तरम् ।
नानिर्भिन्नं न चास्तब्धमकराग्रादजिह्मगैः ॥६-४५-२०॥
na hyaviddhaṃ tayogātre babhūvāṅgulamantaram |
nānirbhinnaṃ na cāstabdhamakarāgrādajihmagaiḥ ॥6-45-20॥
Translation
Indeed, there was not even a finger's breadth of space on their bodies that was unpierced, unlacerated, or where the tips of straight-going arrows were not embedded.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उनके शरीर में एक अंगुल भर भी जगह ऐसी नहीं थी जो बिना छिदी हो, जो टूटी न हो, या जहाँ सीधे जाने वाले बाणों की नोकें धंसी न हों।
English Commentary
The density of wounds is horrifying; not even a finger's width ('angulam antaram') was spared. Every inch was 'aviddham' (pierced). This hyperbole emphasizes the totality of Indrajit's assault and the miraculous endurance of the brothers to remain alive despite such trauma.

इन्द्रजित की क्रूरता और सटीकता का वर्णन है। एक अंगुल जगह भी नहीं बची थी। पूरा शरीर छलनी हो चुका था। सीधे चलने वाले बाणों से उनका शरीर भर गया था। यह स्थिति मृत्यु-तुल्य कष्ट की थी।
