सर्वेरपि समागम्य सर्षिसङ्घैः सुरासुरैः ।
यत्कृते चिन्तयानस्य शोकार्त्तस्य पितुर्मम ॥६-४६-१४॥
sarverapi samāgamya sarṣisaṅghaiḥ surāsuraiḥ |
yatkṛte cintayānasya śokārttasya pitu rmam ॥6-46-14॥
Translation
Even if all the hosts of Sages, Gods, and Asuras come together (they cannot save them). On whose account my father was afflicted with grief and anxiety—

चाहे सभी ऋषि-गण, देवता और असुर मिलकर भी क्यों न आ जाएं (वे इन्हें नहीं बचा सकते)। जिनके कारण मेरे पिता शोक से पीड़ित और चिन्तित रहते थे—
English Commentary
Indrajit's challenge extends to the entire universe. He views even Sages and Gods as inferior to his power. The mention of Ravana's anxiety proves how deep the fear of Shri Rama had penetrated Lanka. Indrajit seeks the credit for curing his father's 'fever' of mental distress and worry.

इन्द्रजित की चुनौती सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड को है। वह ऋषियों और देवताओं को भी स्वयं से तुच्छ समझ रहा है। यहाँ रावण की चिंता का उल्लेख है, जो यह सिद्ध करता है कि लंका में श्री राम का भय कितना गहरा था। इन्द्रजित अपने पिता के उस 'ज्वर' (मानसिक संताप) को दूर करने का श्रेय लेना चाहता है।
