यूथपानपि तान् सर्वांस्ताडयामास रावणिः ।
नीलं नवभिराहत्य मैन्दं च द्विविदं तथा ॥६-४६-१८॥
yūthapānapi tān sarvāṃstāḍayāmāsa rāvaṇiḥ |
nīlaṃ navabhirāhatya maindaṃ ca dvividaṃ tathā ॥6-46-18॥
Translation
Indrajit, the son of Ravana, began to strike all those Vanara commanders as well. He hit Nila with nine arrows, and similarly struck Mainda and Dvivida.
हिंदी अनुवाद
रावण पुत्र इन्द्रजित ने उन सभी वानर यूथपतियों को भी पीटना (घायल करना) शुरू किया। उसने नील को नौ बाणों से और वैसे ही मैन्द और द्विविद को भी मारा।
English Commentary
After striking down Shri Rama and Lakshmana, Indrajit now targets the other primary warriors. He strikes the commanders one by one to establish his absolute superiority. This reflects his battle-frenzied state where he intends to leave no survivor behind.

श्री राम और लक्ष्मण को धराशायी करने के बाद इन्द्रजित अब अन्य प्रमुख योद्धाओं को निशाना बना रहा है। वह अपनी श्रेष्ठता सिद्ध करने के लिए एक-एक करके सेनापतियों पर प्रहार कर रहा है। यह उसकी युद्धोन्मत्त अवस्था को दर्शाता है जहाँ वह किसी को भी जीवित नहीं छोड़ना चाहता।
