सहितौ भ्रातरावेतौ निशामयत राक्षसाः ।
एवमुक्तास्तु ते सर्वे राक्षसाः कूटयोधिनः ॥६-४६-२५॥
sahitau bhrātarāvetau niśāmayata rākṣasāḥ |
evamuktāstu te sarve rākṣasāḥ kūṭayodhinaḥ ॥6-46-25॥
Translation
O Rakshasas! Behold these two brothers together (as captives). When all those Rakshasas, who fight with deceit, heard this—

हे राक्षसों! इन दोनों भाइयों को एक साथ (बंदी) देखो। छल से युद्ध करने वाले उन सभी राक्षसों ने जब ऐसा सुना—
English Commentary
Indrajit is displaying his success to his soldiers. The Rakshasas are called 'Kutayodhinah' (deceitful fighters), which exposes the true character of Indrajit's victory. This was not a fair combat of Dharma, but a treacherous strike conducted by Adharma.

इन्द्रजित अपने सैनिकों को अपनी सफलता का प्रदर्शन कर रहा है। यहाँ राक्षसों को 'कूटयोधिनः' (छल से लड़ने वाले) कहा गया है, जो इन्द्रजित की जीत के असली चरित्र को उजागर करता है। यह धर्मयुद्ध नहीं, बल्कि अधर्म द्वारा किया गया कपटपूर्ण प्रहार था।
