सत्यधर्माभिरक्तानां नास्ति मृत्युकृतं भयम् ।
एवमुक्त्वा ततस्तस्य जलक्लिन्नेन पाणिना ॥६-४६-३४॥
satyadharmābhiraktānāṃ nāsti mṛtyukṛtaṃ bhayam |
evamuktvā tatastasya jalaklinnena pāṇinā ॥6-46-34॥
Translation
For those who are devoted to Truth and Dharma, there is no fear caused by death. Having spoken thus, then with his hand wet with water—

English Commentary
This is one of the most significant maxims of the Ramayana. Truth and Dharma are the ultimate shields. Vibhishana reminds Sugriva of the spiritual power that accompanies Shri Rama. The use of water symbolizes purification and the restoration of consciousness, showing a beautiful balance of action and wisdom.
