Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
लब्धसंज्ञौ हि काकुत्स्थौ भयं नो व्यपनेष्यतः ।
नैतत्किंचन रामस्य न च रामो मुमूर्षति ॥६-४६-४०॥
labdhasaṃjñau hi kākutsthau bhayaṃ no vyapaneṣyataḥ |
naitatkiñcana rāmasya na ca rāmo mumūrṣati ॥6-46-40॥
Translation
When these two scions of Kakutstha regain consciousness, they will dispel all our fears. This is nothing for Shri Rama, nor does Shri Rama wish to die.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जब ये दोनों रघुकुल के वीर होश में आएंगे, तब वे हमारा सारा भय दूर कर देंगे। श्री राम को कुछ नहीं हुआ है और न ही उनकी मृत्यु संभव है।
English Commentary
Vibhishana's faith in Shri Rama is unwavering. He knows this is but a temporary setback. Saying 'Na ca Ramo mumurshati' (Shri Rama does not wish to die/cannot die) hints at His divinity. He is the master of Time; Time is under His control. These words are meant to infuse hope back into the Vanara army.

विभीषण का श्री राम के प्रति विश्वास अडिग है। वे जानते हैं कि यह केवल एक अस्थायी बाधा है। 'न च श्री रामो मुमूर्षति' (श्री राम मरना नहीं चाहते/मर नहीं सकते) कहना उनके ईश्वरत्व की ओर संकेत है। वे काल के स्वामी हैं, काल उनके वश में है। यह वचन वानर सेना में आशा का संचार करने वाला है।
