न ह्येनं हास्यते लक्ष्मीर्दुर्लभा या गतायुषाम् ।
तस्मादाश्वासयात्मानं बलं चाश्वासय स्वकम् ॥६-४६-४१॥
na hyenaṃ hāsyate lakṣmīrdurlabhā yā gatāyuṣām |
tasmādāśvāsayātmānaṃ balaṃ cāśvāsaya svakam ॥6-46-41॥
Translation
Prosperity (Divine Grace) will never leave Him, which is unattainable for those whose life is at an end. Therefore, comfort yourself and encourage your army.
हिंदी अनुवाद
लक्ष्मी (राजलक्ष्मी या विजय-कांति) उन्हें कभी नहीं छोड़ेगी, जो उन लोगों के लिए दुर्लभ है जिनका अंत निकट हो। इसलिए अपने आप को और अपनी सेना को सांत्वना दो।
English Commentary
Here 'Lakshmi' refers to the luster of victory and auspicious power. Vibhishana argues that Shri Rama's face still holds that divine glow (Lakshmi) which disappears at the time of death. This subtle observation showcases his wisdom. He is commanding Sugriva, in his capacity as a king, to steady his soldiers.

यहाँ 'लक्ष्मी' का अर्थ विजय और मंगलमयी शक्ति से है। विभीषण का तर्क है कि श्री राम के मुख पर अभी भी वह कांति (लक्ष्मी) है जो मृत्यु के समय लुप्त हो जाती है। यह सूक्ष्म निरीक्षण उनकी बुद्धिमत्ता को दर्शाता है। वे सुग्रीव को एक राजा के रूप में अपने सैनिकों को संभालने का आदेश दे रहे हैं।
