विद्रुतं वानरानीकं तत्समाश्वासयत्पुनः ।
इन्द्रजित्तु महामायः सर्वसैन्यममावृतः ॥६-४६-४५॥

English Commentary
Two contrasting scenes are described here. On one side, Vibhishana is rallying a despondent army; on the other, Indrajit is intoxicated with the pride of victory. The word 'Mahamayah' reminds us of the source of Indrajit's power. It depicts the reconstruction of Truth versus the temporary celebration of Deceit.

यहाँ दो विपरीत दृश्यों का वर्णन है। एक ओर विभीषण हताश सेना को जोड़ रहे हैं, दूसरी ओर इन्द्रजित विजय के गर्व में उन्मत्त है। 'महामायः' शब्द इन्द्रजित की शक्ति के स्रोत को पुनः याद दिलाता है। यह सत्य के पुनर्निर्माण और असत्य के अस्थायी उत्सव का चित्रण है।
