निरपेक्षा विशालाक्षी मामुपस्थास्यते स्वयम् ।
तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा रावणस्य दुरात्मनः ॥६-४७-११॥
nirapekṣā viśālākṣī māmupasthāsyate svayam |
tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā rāvaṇasya durātmanaḥ ॥6-47-11॥

English Commentary
The epithet 'Vishalakshi' (wide-eyed) highlights Sita's beauty which captivated Ravana. Ravana is termed 'duratma' (evil-souled) because he is playing a cruel game with the emotions of a chaste woman.
