स्तनौ चाविरलौ पीनौ ममेमौ मग्नचूचुकौ ।
मग्ना चोत्सङ्गिनी नाभिः पार्श्वोरस्काश्च मे चिताः ॥६-४८-११॥
stanau cāviralau pīnau mamemau magnacūcukau |
magnā cotsaṅginī nābhiḥ pārśvoraskāśca me citāḥ ॥6-48-11॥
Translation
My breasts are close-set, full, with depressed nipples. My navel is deep and raised at the edges. My sides and chest are well-formed.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मेरे ये स्तन घने (सटे हुए), पीन (पुष्ट) और दबे हुए चूचुक वाले हैं। मेरी नाभि गहरी और किनारों से उठी हुई है। मेरी बगलें और छाती भी सुडौल हैं।
English Commentary
Sita continues the inventory of her auspicious anatomy—features like a deep navel ('magna nabhi') and full breasts imply fertility and prosperity. Listing these intimate details emphasizes her tragedy: she was built for a life of royal bliss, not the sorrow of a widow on a battlefield.

सामुद्रिक शास्त्र के अनुसार गहरी नाभि और पुष्ट वक्षस्थल उत्तम संतान और ऐश्वर्य के सूचक हैं। सीता इन लक्षणों का उल्लेख करके विलाप कर रही हैं कि ये सब शुभ लक्षण अब निरर्थक हैं।
