Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
यथैव मां वनं यान्तमनुयातो महाद्युतिः ।
अहमप्यनुयास्यामि तथैवैनं यमक्षयम् ॥६-४९-१७॥
yathaiva māṃ vanaṃ yāntamanuyāto mahādyutiḥ |
ahamapyanuyāsyāmi tathaivainaṃ yamakṣayam ॥6-49-17॥
Translation
Just as the highly radiant Lakshmana followed me to the forest, I too shall follow him to the abode of Yama (the God of Death).
हिंदी अनुवाद
जैसे महातेजस्वी लक्ष्मण मेरे साथ वन आए थे, वैसे ही मैं भी उनके पीछे यमलोक चला जाऊँगा।
English Commentary
This resolve of Shri Rama is proof of the unbreakable bond between Him and Shri Lakshmana. The word 'Anuyasyami' shows that Shri Rama does not desire even the bliss of heaven without Shri Lakshmana. It is the ultimate example of brotherly love where the very basis of existence is the company of the loved one.

श्री राम का यह संकल्प उनके और श्री लक्ष्मण के अटूट सम्बन्ध का प्रमाण है। 'अनुयास्यामि' शब्द यह दर्शाता है कि श्री राम श्री लक्ष्मण के बिना स्वर्ग का सुख भी नहीं चाहते। यह भ्रातृ-प्रेम का सर्वोच्च उदाहरण है जहाँ जीवित रहने का आधार ही प्रियजन का साथ है।
