Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
वानरा दुद्रुवुः सर्वे मन्यमानास्तु रावणिम् ।
निश्चेष्टौ विगतज्ञानौ रणरेणुसमुक्षितौ ॥६-४९-३३॥
vānarā dudruvuḥ sarve manyamānāstu rāvaṇim |
niśceṣṭau vigatajñānau raṇareṇusamukṣitau ॥6-49-33॥
Translation
All the Vanaras began to flee here and there, mistaking him for Indrajit. Meanwhile, Shri Rama and Lakshmana lay motionless, unconscious, and covered with the dust of the battlefield.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सभी वानर उन्हें इन्द्रजित मानकर इधर-उधर भागने लगे। उधर श्री राम और लक्ष्मण निश्चेष्ट, अचेत और युद्ध की धूल से ढके हुए भूमि पर पड़े थे।
English Commentary
The fear of the Vanaras is evident here. They were already scared by Indrajit's illusion. Seeing Vibhishana in his Rakshasa form, they mistook him for the enemy. This verse depicts the confusion and psychological stress that occur during war. The condition of Shri Rama and Shri Lakshmana remains critical.

वानरों का भय यहाँ स्पष्ट है। वे पहले ही इन्द्रजित की माया से डरे हुए थे। विभीषण को राक्षस रूप में देखकर वे उसे शत्रु समझ बैठे। यह श्लोक युद्ध के दौरान होने वाले भ्रम और मनोवैज्ञानिक तनाव को दर्शाता है। श्री राम और लक्ष्मण की स्थिति अभी भी चिन्ताजनक बनी हुई है।
