अविक्षोभ्याणि रक्षाम्सि सा विधूयोत्पतिष्यति ।
विधूय जलदान् नीलान् शशि लेखा शरत्स्व् इव ॥६-५-१७॥
kadā vikṣobhya rakṣāṃsi sā vidhūyotpatiṣyati । vidhūya jaladānnīlānśaśikheva śaratsviva ॥6-5-17॥
Translation
When will she, shaking off the Rakshasas, emerge/rise up like the autumn moon rising after shaking off the blue clouds?
हिंदी अनुवाद
कब वह राक्षसों को विक्षुब्ध करके (हटाकर) वैसे ही बाहर निकलेगी (शोभा पाएगी), जैसे शरद ऋतु में चन्द्रकला नीले बादलों को हटाकर ऊपर उठती है?
English Commentary
Simile of the Moon. Shri Rama compares Sita to the autumn moon ('shashikha') and the Rakshasas to obscuring dark clouds ('jaladan nilan'). He visualizes the moment of her liberation as the moon breaking free from the clouds, shining in full glory.
हिंदी टीका
उपमा। सीता = चन्द्रकला। राक्षस = नीले बादल। जैसे बादल चंद्रमा को ढक लेते हैं लेकिन उसे नष्ट नहीं कर सकते, वैसे ही सीता का तेज राक्षसों के बीच छिपा है। श्री राम उसके 'उदय' (मुक्ति) की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं।
